Description

NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for three Tenured or Tenure-Track positions in Mathematics. The searches are open — not restricted to any field within mathematics and all levels of seniority will be considered. We will particularly welcome applications in probability, analysis, partial differential equations,  dynamical systems, geometry and algebra.

The Mathematics group at NYU Shanghai is built with the collaboration and help of the Courant Institute and affiliations with the Courant Institute will be encouraged.

Terms of employment at NYU Shanghai are comparable to NYU New York and other U.S. institutions with respect to research start-up funds and compensation, and they include housing subsidies and educational subsidies for children. Faculty may in certain cases have the opportunity to spend time at NYU New York and other sites of the NYU Global Network, engaging in both research and teaching.


Qualifications

Candidates must hold a PhD in Mathematics, or a related field (or expect it by the start date of September 2022).
