The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Princeton University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position (tenure-track or recently tenured preferred) beginning September 1, 2022. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and productive scholar and teacher who would complement the research and teaching agenda of our present faculty in the area of film and media. Among secondary desirable areas of specialization are contemporary Russian culture, visual studies, culture of the Russian diaspora, translation studies, drama/theater/performance, digital humanities, critical gender, race and ethnicity studies. The successful applicant will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses. Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English is required. For fullest consideration, apply by  October 20th 2021. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, transcript, a list of names of three recommenders, and a writing sample. Initial interviews will be held in November via Zoom.
