Job Summary
Provides routine animal care. 
Essential Functions
  • Daily feeding, watering, cleaning/sanitation of stalls and barns, rotational grazing, monitoring health and safety of animals, and transportation of animals to proper location. 
  • May handle pesticides, herbicides, and hazardous chemicals on a team or alone. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Regularly involves lifting, bending or other physical exertion. Often exposed to one or more elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., with one often to the point of being objectionable. Injuries may require professional treatment. 
  • Job frequently requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Job occasionally requires sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting more than 80 pounds. 
  • Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. 
Preferred Qualifications
Farm animal experience
Pay Rate $9.00 - $11/hour
Work Hours up to 20 hours per week
