Job Summary

Attend one (1) week training session; submit weekly/monthly attendance log sheets; Exhibit patience and courtesy when tutoring; Observe academic honesty policies; Encourage students to solve problems on their own by providing a starting point. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.

 

Start and End Dates: Training – TBD.  Tutoring - TBD.

Work schedule: to be determined by the PNW student and the student tutored.

Total per Week: One (1) hour, twice a week per student.


Education

 

Must be a PNW Undergraduate student.  Prefer – School of Education and Counseling / College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences student.  GPA: 3.0 in tutoring subject, 3.0 cumulative


Experience

 

Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Organizing and coordinating skills. Knowledge of tutorial/learning materials and instructional aids. Knowledge in a particular subject area.
