Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.; exempt classification. Temporary one-year appointment from date of hire. May be extended.
Essential Functions: Under the general direction of the Senior Associate Director of Enrollment Management Technology {EMT}, the Student Success Systems Analyst will serve as lead and oversee technical projects that are designed to promote and increase student success. Using a hands-on position approach, which requires a combination of project management, team facilitation, systems analysis skills, the incumbent is responsible for cross-functional communication and system implementation involving multiple business and technical areas. The incumbent will: provide project management in support of Enrollment Service's projects system implementations and support by directly overseeing technical projects from inception through maintenance; foster partner-working relationships by being the point person of EMT projects and initiating communications to ensure timely completion of projects; be responsible for cross-­functional communication and system implementation involving multiple business and technical areas; support ongoing operations and maintenance of system solutions implemented; conduct systems testing during maintenance packs, upgrades, trouble shooting, and alike; and document and train end-users.
Required Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college of university and/or the equivalent training and three years of professional work experience in project management and systems implementation of student or administration and/or advising systems. The incumbent must have additional experience in all of the following areas: managing technical projects for a portfolio of partners; designing and leading implementation strategy based on institutional structure and data availability; working with the partners technical staff to extract and validate data; assisting a team in improving processes, and developing scalable solutions; analyzing partner data for validity, identifying trends, and statistical significance; mastering the functionality of the Student Success platform and develop expertise in industry/product terrain; building working business relationships across departments and project teams including providing onsite, in-person training in small and large groups; enterprise systems implementation and support; system development life cycles, maintenance support, and project deliverables; system development processes including operational analysis and process flow; project coordination and team facilitation; initiating discover meetings, gap analysis, and fostering discussion and maintaining key meeting outcomes; computer functionality, including user interfaces, reports, self-service user access, and batch processing; translating business requirements into system specifications, to organize complex projects, track, and manage deliverables, and produce accurate results; editing a variety of project-related documents using current software products; and tracking and troubleshooting information system problems. The incumbent must be able to handle multiple competing demands, prioritize tasks, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, computer science, or a job-related field. Experience with Education Advisory Board (EAB) student success collaborative software or closely related advising software packages, PeopleSoft Student Administration ERP, and related reporting tools is highly desired. Experience working within or with the California State University System.
