Job Summary

The Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee seeks applications for a Student Services Coordinator – MBA/MS Recruiter. The incumbent will report directly to the Master’s Programs Director. This is a full-time12 month fixed-term academic staff appointment.

The Student Services Coordinator is responsible for recruiting potential MBA and MS students to the Lubar School of Business. This professional will develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan, including: developing and managing relationships with individual prospects utilizing appropriate sales, marketing, and client lead techniques; developing corporate/employer relationships; developing alumni relationships; coordinating and leading graduate recruitment events; and working with other units in the Lubar School to cross-market services. The Student Services Coordinator will establish and implement tracking systems to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and will analyze prospect and admissions data to further inform the process. Flexibility for scheduling early, late, and weekend office hours is required to accommodate programming needs.

Salary is commensurate with degree and experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and minimally five (5) years of recruitment or related work and/or experience, evidence of excellent communication skills, demonstrated understanding of recruitment and marketing techniques, as well as related computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Business or a related field, related experience in student affairs working with college or university students from diverse backgrounds, networking experience with professional associations and the business community, experience developing and managing recruitment events and programs, and a working knowledge of AACSB accredited business curriculum.
