Job Summary/Basic Function

Provides general office assistance to the faculty, staff and students who work in or visit the University.

Specific Responsibilities

Provide clerical support to staff including but not limited to filing, scanning, answering phones, greeting customers, Excel spreadsheets, and other tasks as assigned.

Work Schedule

Up to 20 hours per week during the school year between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30 Monday through Friday.

Indiana State University student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

General office responsibilities including, but not limited to, filing, answering phones, greeting visitors, deliveries, and record keeping .Answer and direct calls and visitors.
Complete tasks accurately and in a timely fashion.
Maintain confidentiality of personal and University business within the office.
Deliver documents and paperwork across campus.
Create and/or update spreadsheets.
Operate copy/printer/fax/scan machine in office.
Additional duties as assigned.
