Summary
The Student Helper will support research studies in the Texas Children's Cancer Center Histiocytosis and Lymphoma Program Lab. Projects include basic and translational studies to understand mechanisms of pathogenesis and test novel therapeutic strategies for Histiocytic Disorders and Lymphoma with the goal of ultimately improving outcomes for patients. The Student Helper will assist with abstraction of clinical information and will work with senior scientists to analyze data and prepare reports. The Student Helper may may also contribute to publications and presentations.
Job Duties
- Conducts literature searches and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
- Provides research support by abstracting data from clinical information.
- Collects,compiles and analyzes data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
