Summary
The student will assist in the recruitment of participants for research studies. They also will obtain consent and assent from those willing to participate. They will be responsible for data collection and data quality.
Job Duties
- Visits Texas Children's Clinics and identifies potential candidates for research studies.
- Obtains consent for those willing to participate.
- Carries out the research protocol.
- Data obtained will be entered by them into the study database. They will re-enter the data or otherwise verify the accuracy of the data input.
- Prepares reports for the investigators.
- Conduct pubmed searches to find relevant studies related to the current study.
- Summarizes the findings from the literature.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Sophomore in college.
