Summary
Dr. Chadi Calarge is requesting a part time Student Helper position to assist with his research initiatives. This position will provide administrative research support to the research team by assisting with data collection and entry for research study participants. The selected candidate will gain professional experience in research protocols.
Job Purpose
Student Helpers provides services to a department on a temporary basis while gaining professional experience.
Job Duties
- Organizes data and study materials for missing data, or data inconsistencies.
- Contact with participants to ensure collection of interim data on a monthly basis.
- Sends letters and conducts recruitment calls to inform potential participants of the study and confirm eligibility.
- Builds rapport with families and children with various psychological diagnoses.
- Calls families to confirm visits and conduct COVID screenings.
- Assists with carrying out study procedures including vital signs, and questionnaires.
- Schedules research visits and coordinates with research staff.
- Attends weekly lab meetings for study progress.
- Attends weekly meetings to optimize skills in working with families and participants.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate or Graduate Student preferred.
