Summary
The Department of Psychiatry is hiring a Part Time candidate who can assist Research Coordinators in daily task. The Student Helper will working closely with Research Coordinators and the Research Supervisor in data collection, assist them in analysis of data, and generate/analyze results in proper written forms. The internship will run from May 23,2022 - August 26,2022 and is located in Ben Taub Hospital/NPC Bldg Houston, TX 77030.
Job Duties
- Works with and assists PIs and research team.
- Processes samples, analyzes data and compiles literature searches.
- Summarizes the findings from the literature.
- Carries out the research protocol.
- Enters data into the study database. They will re-enter the data or otherwise verify the accuracy of the data input.
- Conduct PubMed searches to find relevant studies related to the current study.
- Answers phones.
- Maintains database.
- Files documents.
- Creates invoices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
