Summary
The Park Lab in the Department of Molecular Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine is looking for a highly motivated individual at the level of summer research helper position to join research programs focused on musculoskeletal and stem cell biology. The position is most appropriate (but not limited to) for a recent undergraduate student seeking an intensive summer research experience prior to graduate school or medical school.
Job Duties
• Assists with a range of laboratory work, including:
- FACS sample preparation,
- cell cultures, and
- frozen tissue processing and immuno-staining.
• Helps to maintain basic mouse lines and perform genotyping.
• Collects, compiles and analyzes data obtained from in vivo imaging and uCT experiments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
- No experience required.
