The Student/Farmworker Alliance (SFA) seeks an experienced organizer to coordinate the involvement of students and youth in the Coalition of Immokalee Workers’ (CIW) Campaign for Fair Food. Within the organization’s leadership structure, two SFA staff members work closely together to direct education, leadership and action within the SFA network. Ideal candidates are highly responsible, work well in teams as part of a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent written and verbal skills.
The SFA works in direct partnership with the CIW, an internationally recognized farmworker-led organization, to transform longstanding human rights abuses in the agriculture industry through securing agreements with major food retailers to implement the CIW’s uniquely successful Fair Food Program. The SFA organizers work as part of the broader Alliance for Fair Food (AFF) staff.
