Student Enrollment & Engagement: Temporary Advising and Success Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Temporary Advising and Success Specialist will assist the Student Advising and Success office in advancing student outreach and engagement. Position is remote.  

The position will: 

Technology / Data 

  • Facilitate student data collection and prepare spreadsheets to support operations and strategic outreach

  • Fulfill administrative tasks under Student Advising and Success leadership. This may include organizing documents, scheduling meetings and events,  supporting processes to help students re-enroll at Berklee.

Academic Advising

  • Advise students via email and drop-in sessions to help them navigate enrollment requirements and connect them to relevant resources regarding schedule and academic planning.

  • Provide administrative support for student workshops, and programming to support registration and check-in.

  • Support outreach efforts including calling campaigns, email and social media.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Highly proficient in Excel, and familiarity with Google Sheets and the Google Workspace

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team

  • Curiosity and familiarity with coaching and advising students in the higher education setting

  • Experience with Berklee curriculum, policies and systems strongly preferred.

Time Commitment:

Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week
