JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


Penn State Residential Dining is now hiring for Spring semester.
Some of the job responsibilities may include:


  • Serving food and beverages at various food outlets

  • Preparing and restocking in food areas

  • Working as cashier

  • Work in coffee shops including preparation of beverage and food ordering.

  • Cleaning dining and serving areas during and after meal service.



Positions with Residential Dining at University Park provide many perks and benefits!


  • Starting wage is $12.00/hour with the opportunity to earn additional increases each semester.

  • Flexible scheduling--work as few as 2 shifts/week.

  • Positions are in convenient locations including five dining commons, markets, coffee shops and snack bars campus-wide

  • Students may work up to 20 hours/week (40 during the summer) and evening and weekend shifts are also available.

  • Free employee meals directly before or after shifts and $2.00 employee meals at all other times.

  • Additional perks include snack fueling stations, social events, and many professional development and advancement opportunities.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
