  • The College of Atmospheric & Geographic Sciences seeks two students to promote research achievements and programs in the College of AGS through interviews, story writing, and videos engaging and focusing on the college’s faculty, researchers, staff, students, alumni, and events.
    • Student 1 – Focus on producing content
      Representative Duties:
      • Write and/or contribute to stories for AGS Express newsletter, news releases, Monday Memo, brochures, etc.
      • Conduct interviews w/faculty, staff, students, alumni for written stories and for videos
      • Attend and contribute to recruiting events, outreach events, and student events
    • Student 2 – Focus on sharing content
      Representative Duties:
      • Craft engaging social media posts and share content on web sites and other social media outlets (facebook, twitter)
      • Assist with production of video interviews
      • Attend and contribute to recruiting events, outreach events, and student events

Preferences for positions are:

  • Current meteorology, geography, GIS, environmental sustainability, or journalism student or previous education or work experience in related fields
  • One year commitment to position

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the current Fall 2019 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
