Job Summary

Title: Student Office Assistant/ClerkDepartment: Behavioral SciencesStatus: Temporary, Non-Benefit eligible The University of Michigan-Dearborn has an exciting opportunity available for a person with great initiative, flexibility, and professionalism to work as an Office Assistant in the Department of Behavioral Sciences. This position will provide a student the opportunity to learn new skills and improve existing skills. The Office Assistant will be responsible for clerical tasks in support of various faculty members and students.Duties may include:

  • Handle copying, scanning, and typing requests for faculty and staff.
  • May need to assist students with research projects.
  • Assist faculty members, and other duties as assigned.
  • Delivery and posting of packages and posters happen regularly.

Desired Qualifications*
  • Undergraduate student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn
  • Computer experience, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Professional etiquette, in-person, and on-the-phone
  • Enjoys working with people and creating a friendly and professional environment
