The department of student affairs is seeking a Federal work study candidate who will assist the Student Affairs department by providing administrative support for programs, services, and activities. The student may work with/for other staff in the unit on a project basis as time, skills, and need dictate. 

Duties and responsibilities include: Filing; phone outreach to students; Event coordination assistance; process documentation assistance; meeting minutes; resume review support; assisting with data reports and research requests. The student affairs assistant may also be asked to assist with special projects as assigned.

Candidate must: Be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products; have strong organizational skills; be detail oriented; dependable; prompt, have excellent communication skills; be able to work independently and follow the direction of the supervisor; be comfortable working with highly confidential documents. Additionally, the Ideal candidate must be able to work 15-20 hours per week, between the hours of 8am-5pm Monday – Friday.

All candidates must be current Franklin students, and have Federal Work Study eligibility.
