MUST BE WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE - Assist the Office of International Student Services with programming and engagement opportunities. Develop marketing materials for events, design and maintain newsletter, create and order signage, assist with communication with International Student Ambassadors, assist with room reservations and preparing materials for upcoming event. Will also assist with updating social media with pre-approved posts. Design experience required and knowledge with Adobe InDesign & Illustrator. Preferred experience with Animaker, Camasita, and/or Purdue Video Express Software. Must have the ability to multi-task and organize your workload so that all is completed in a timely manner. Attention to detail is very important. Open communication about workload or process with supervisor. Assist with new student check-in during the spring and fall semester. Communicate with a diverse population. Lift up to 20-25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work quietly and efficiently with little to no supervision. Assist the Assistant Director position in tasks and projects as assigned. Must work well with others and be dependable and reliable and be at work when you are assigned. Expected to work 10 to 15 hours a week. Your responsibility to know when you are close to running out of work study funds and inform supervisor.
