Scholarship information

The Spouse of Military Veteran Tuition Scholarship ensures tuition and fees are covered for AZ resident students pursuing an undergraduate degree and are the current spouse of an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces. https://www.azregents.edu/policy-manual . Policy 4-405

The Spouse of Military Veteran Tuition Scholarship recipients will receive a scholarship, in combination with other eligible grant aid, that will cover tuition and student initiated fees (including the Barrett Honors fee). Funding is subject to availability.

This scholarship is designed to be a “last dollar” award that covers the remaining cost of tuition and fees after all other gift aid is received. Awards will be reduced by the amount of any federal aid, scholarships, public grants, and any other financial gifts, grants or aid received. Spouses who are also eligible for the Department of Veteran Affairs Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) may elect to accept those benefits instead of this scholarship, as only one benefit can truly be the last payer.
