Sir Thomas Naghten Fitzgerald Scholarship

Description: The purpose of the scholarship is to enable medical graduates to further their surgical training by studying in Australia or overseas. The funds for the scholarship have been bequeathed by Kathleen Maggie Douglas, who died in 1951, in memory of her father.

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to suitably qualified postgraduate students. Applicants must have completed at least 4 years of tertiary education studies and have achieved a minimum of second class honours (or equivalent).

Annual Amount: 0

Amount Comment: The scholarship is valued at up to $12,000 for 1 year (funds will be shared between recipients if more than 1 award is made).
