University of Chicago (UChicago) awards postdoctoral scholars to research and lecture in Chinese art history for 1 year or more at their university. The Center for the Art of East Asia (CAEA) and the Department of Art History welcome applicants to this program. Fellows will be in residence at UChicago in Chicago, Illinois. They are expected to research under a faculty member, teach 1 course per year, and participate in workshops. The program is renewable.
Eligibility & Requirements
For promising scholars in Chinese art history. Must have received PhD within the last 5 years. Cover letter. Project proposal including statement of research and teaching interests. CV with a list of publications. 2-3 writing samples (including a dissertation chapter). Dissertation tables of content and abstract. 3 letters of recommendation.
