Position Summary

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work in the laboratory of Dr. Mark Kaplan. Responsibilities will include conducting experiments to study allergic inflammatory response in skin and nasal cells; communicating research findings via submitted manuscripts to scientific journals and research conferences; mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, including training in various laboratory techniques; and maintaining laboratory, laboratory supplies and equipment, and ensuring bio-compliance.

Basic Qualifications

A doctorate or terminal degree is required in the relevant field (Microbiology, Immunology or Biochemistry).
