Postdoc Position in Scanning Tunneling Microscopy and Spectroscopy

The Scanning Probe Microscopy Group ( ), in the Physics Department at Temple University, is searching for a qualified Postdoc to perform research in experimental superconductivity using low temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy. 

The position requires hands-on experience in cryogenics, UHV, computer control of the experiment, numerical data analysis. 

Furthermore, the candidate is expected to have demonstrated strong oral and written communications skills.  The ability to be an excellent team player, to present reports at meetings or conferences and prepare manuscripts for publication is essential.  

The successful candidate is expected to work for the Superconducting Quantum Materials and System (SQMS) Center ( Areas of research include qubit technologies based on superconducting circuits and cavities.
