Job Summary

Full time position immediately available for a postdoctoral fellow to investigate mechanisms underlying plasticity after spinal cord injury.

Essential Functions

  • Perform survival surgeries
  • Perform animal care and handling duties
  • Perform behavioral analysis
  • Perform primary cell culture
  • Perform molecular analyses
  • Perform data analysis
  • Manuscript preparation

Required Qualifications

  • PhD, Neuroscience
  • 2-3 years of relative experience

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in neuroscience or a related field, should have at least two-three years of experience with survival surgeries, primary cell culture, molecular biology, histology, data analysis, manuscript preparation. The applicant should be highly motivated with a strong academic and publishing record and be able to work independently as well as within a team. Writing skills will be scrutinized.
