Job Description: (1) Developing efficient computational models to predict additive manufacturing process behavior and thermally induced stresses and distortions during additive manufacturing of complex parts, (2) Implementing machine learning techniques along with developing computational models to identify, investigate and predict defects associated with metal additive manufacturing, and (3) Developing strategies to control and improve the thermal behavior during the additive manufacturing process.
