Essential Functions (Job Duties)
The laboratory of Dr. Lawrence Grossman is searching to fill an open NIH-funded postdoctoral position, effective immediately, to study the role of novel mitochondrial stress regulators in placental inflammation and preterm labor using mouse and cultured cell models. Competitive salary and a benefits package are available.
Qualifications: PhD in molecular biology or equivalent.
An ideal candidate should be well-trained in cell and molecular biology, animal models, and development.
Strong written/oral communication skills a must.
At least 2 first author papers in a peer reviewed biomedical journal. Publication and editing skills desired.
