Post Doctoral Fellow

A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Bin Guo at the University of Houston (http://www.uh.edu/pharmacy/directory-home/pps-faculty/bin-guo/ ). Our lab is interested in cancer, epigenetics, and drug discovery. The current projects focus on the following areas: targeted delivery of siRNA/miRNA for cancer therapy; delivery of large therapeutic complexes in mouse models; drug screening and discovery for cancer treatment; discovery of new compounds for cancer imaging.  

Possesses, understands, and applies a comprehensive knowledge in area of specialization. Develops understanding and skills to allow for completion of assignments that cross fields of specialization. Develops leadership and management skills.

Doctoral and No experience

Successful candidates should have a strong record of scientific productivity and extensive experience in a related field, including but not limited to molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, cancer biology, and mouse xenograft model..

Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
