Job Summary
We are seeking a postdoctoral scholar who can help direct an NIMH-funded study investigating the intergenerational transmission of emotion dysregulation (MPIs Elisabeth Conradt, Ph.D. and Sheila Crowell, Ph.D.). This position prepares post-doctoral scholars to conduct independent research in emotion dysregulation, perinatal risk and protective factors, psychophysiology, advanced statistics, and emotional development in infancy and early childhood. The position lasts 1 year, with an option to extend up to 2 years.  More information about our NIMH-funded study, the BABY study, can be found here: A benefit of this position is that it will allow for joint mentorship in both clinical (Dr. Crowell) and developmental (Dr. Conradt) psychology. Statistical training and consultation is also provided to help the postdoc develop a rigorous program of research.
1.       Strong organization and administrative skills, detail-orientation and conscientiousness to include data management, statistical analyses, and the completion of manuscripts in a timely manner.
2.       Critical thinking skills along with the ability to discuss and solve problems and issues that may arise
3.       Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, research materials, and publications
4.       Ability to interact with high-risk pregnant women and their infants is preferred.
5.       Opportunities to participate in other NIH-funded projects are possible 
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in psychology or a related field. Postdoctoral students should have experience conducting statistical analyses and drafting manuscripts for publication.
