Location
 

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
 

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. This is an applicant pool for teaching in Biology courses during the Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 semesters. Courses of interest include (but are not limited to):

BIOL 2221 and 2222 (Anatomy and Physiology for pre-health majors)

Other courses will be considered based on applicant experience and departmental need.  Assignments may include lecture or laboratory sections as needed by the department.

Responsibilities may include:

-Excellent teaching in the area of Human Anatomy and Physiology.

-Supporting diverse student populations and ensuring all students entering our science classes have the opportunity to succeed and feel like they belong.

-The ideal candidate will have a record of building Inclusive Excellence into their every interaction with students and colleagues.


Required Qualifications
 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A Master's degree, earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent.
  • Area of specialization must meet the courses assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
 

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Prior teaching experience with active, engaged pedagogical techniques.
  • Evidence of teaching and supporting students from a diverse background.
  • Experience or training to teach in an online format.
