KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

All positions require the ability to work independently and all employees may need to help in areas outside of their department on occasion.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Experience in a similar position and/or a background in sustainability is helpful, but not required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

Training is provided.

This is a Student Assistant C position; minimum starting pay $12.00 hourly.

Applicants must be enrolled as UAF students taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.

Review Date:

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year and students may apply for the position all year. When the department needs to fill a position, they review the current “pool” and call students for interviews. Students who were not hired for one position still remain in the pool for other positions.
