Dr. Paul Seli’s lab is looking to hire a remote research assistant for Fall 2021. The Seli Lab (https://www.mindatlargelab.com/ ) studies thought and attention, looking specifically at mind wandering, hypnagogia, creativity, and artistic practice.

The remote research assistant will:

  • Analyze data from two on-going lab projects. (40%)
  • Supervise beginner RAs in running subjects and help to organize data collection. (20%)
  • The research assistant will have the opportunity to design and run their own project. Thematically this can involve artistic practice or mind wandering, but can include any area within cognitive psychology. (30%)
  • Help prepare figures and present results publicly, such as at an academic conference or in a publication. (10%)

The research assistant will work 16 hours/week at $16.50/hour.
