 National Gallery of Art - Predoctoral Fellowships in the Visual Arts
Purpose: Support for advanced graduate research in the history, theory, and criticism of art, architecture, and urbanism
Eligibility: Applications may be made only through the chairs of graduate departments of art history and other appropriate departments; nominee must have advanced to candidacy by the time of application; certification in two languages other than English is required
Terms: $20,000 annual stipend; $4,000 housing subsidy; per diem allowances for photography and travel; membership in the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts
