Maintenance Engineer II-2 Open Positions; Days; Mechanical Shop

Location: Omaha, NEBRASKA

Performs senior level maintenance service and repairs in the areas of building equipment to include electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning units, and machine servicing. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience with troubleshooting
and repair of pumps, valves, air compressors, coils, converters of heating/air conditioning units. Coordinates work orders and ensures completion of all responsibilities in a timely manner. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and crawling all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
This position will work Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm; must be able to be “On-Call” on nights and weekends on a rotation schedule.  

2 (two) open positions to be filled.  

High school diploma or equivalent;
Associates Degree in related trade/field preferred, plus, two (2) years of hands on experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers, plumbing, electrical and Residential HVAC equipment in commercial building maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair, industrial, or institutional facility;
Four (4) years related experience in commercial building maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair (i.e. plumbing, electrical and Residential HVAC equipment);
3rd Grade Engineers license or related certification/license preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Must have a valid and current driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years and no major violations within the last 5 years;
3rd Grade Engineers license or related certification/license preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Basic computer proficiency/skills;
Ability to self-start, work independently and complete work orders in a timely manner;
Strong customer service focus;
Knowledge and familiarity of safety standards and regulations;
Ability to see details at close range;
Ability to listen and understand spoken information and ideas;
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects;
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs;
Ability to work at heights of 20 feet and above;
Ability to work outside in various temperatures (summer/winter) for extended periods of time;
Ability to be “On-Call” on nights and weekends on a rotation schedule
