Description   The Life Sciences Research Foundation (LSRF) funds about 15 to 25 fellowships for 3 years to postdoc scholars in biology and matches them with sponsors for research. The Foundation seeks innovative individuals in the biological sciences to be matched with sponsors who share similar research interests. Each recipient will work at a non-profit institution of his or her choice, and each will be identified as the individual recipient of support from one of the Foundation's Sponsors.  
Award Amount   Stipend of $60,000/year for three years ($180,000 total).  
Disciplines   Life Sciences.  
Academic Level   Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   U.S. citizens or residents. Also open to foreign nationals intending to carry out research in the U.S. 
Requirements   Must hold a MD, DDS or PhD degree within the last 5 years. Research proposal. 4 letters of support: 1 supervisor letter and 3 reference letters. Individuals intending to remain in their thesis labs to complete their proposed LSRF postdoctoral research project are not eligible for an LSRF fellowship.
