The Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), located in NorCal, offers 2-4 awards for talented postdoc scholars to do scientific research for 3 years. The Laboratory is located in Livermore, California, about 35 miles from Berkeley. Fellows will pursue cutting-edge science involving original and independent research in one or more aspects of science and engineering. Awardees are expected to publish research and report results in LLNL seminars and in the major scientific conferences. Many fellows end up work at the Livermore Laboratory after the conclusion of the fellowship, while others have obtained tenure-track positions at top-tier universities.
