Job Description

Students will assist IT staff in supporting Law School technology in classrooms and computer labs for faculty, staff, and students. Classroom support may include setting up, picking up, and checking in-classroom technology for many classes every day. May be called on to assist with setting up AV equipment, PowerPoint presentations, videoconferencing software, YouTube videos, DVD/VHS movies, document cameras, and laptops. 
Computer Lab support includes assisting students in the use of computer lab hardware and software, filling printers with paper, clearing paper jams, stocking lab supplies, replacing toner cartridges, and maintaining tidy facilities. 

 

  • Assists in ongoing maintenance & operation of the College's technological resources. 
  • Does minimal troubleshooting on computers/printers. 
  • Reports problems to supervisor. 
  • Occasional office cleaning; 
  • Assists with clerical duties as needed. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled in the current 2021 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.


  • Must attach Fall 2021 class schedule.
  • Must not be a current student in the College of Law (including JD, LLM, and dual-degree programs, as well as interdisciplinary programs/courses) due to potential conflicts of interest.
