The student employees will assist with data collection in the field and water quality sampling as well as other duties as assigned.


This position is open to a wide range of majors. The main requirements are to have a willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and a passion for water issues. 

 

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oklahoma as a sophomore or higher in standing. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.


  • Must attach  Fall 2019 class schedule

  • Must have completed 30 credit hours and submitted the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

  • Must be currently enrolled in 12 hours for the Fall 2019 Term 

Skills:

  • Familiar with GIS

  • Willing to travel across Oklahoma


Physical Requirements:
  • Willing to work in both hot and cold weather including during rain
  • Able to swim is preferred
  • Able to carry 50 lbs
