| Position Purpose | KMOS-TV is a public television station owned by the University of Central Missouri. KMOS-TV broadcasts four channels to 34 counties in central Missouri reaching nearly a million people daily. The position of On-Air Operations Assistant is responsible for the day to day broadcast of all four of KMOS-TV’s channels. Students will work in our state of the art On-Air Operations facility (Master Control). You will be trained by the existing students and professional staff in all of the equipment and procedures necessary to provide error free PBS and university programming to the residents of central Missouri. This position provides flexible scheduling between 7am and midnight seven days a week and can include employment outside of school weeks (holiday breaks, summer, etc). We welcome students from all majors, not just those in the broadcasting field.
