The Sargents established the Julie Sargent Memorial Scholarship in 1994 after the death of their daughter from complications of juvenile diabetes. Julie was an ASU student. The endowment is designated to the ASU Disability Resource Center to assist students with juvenile diabetes.

• There is no automatic renewal. You must reapply every year.
• Be currently registered with the Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services or provide qualifying documentation of disability;
• Must complete 10 hours of campus/community involvement per semester;
• Meet with your Disability Access Consultant a minimum of once a month;
