AIR is currently seeking a Research Associate Intern to join our team within the Human Services Division during our 2022 Virtual Summer Internship Program. The internship period may range from mid-May through the end of August 2022 depending on student availability.

The responsibilities for the position include:
- Analyze qualitative research data using NVivo software and contribute to the reporting and interpretation of findings
- Participate in the collection, analysis, and review of research and evaluation data
- Develop spreadsheets and data bases to support project activities
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Must be a current student seeking a Master’s degree in such fields as education, psychology, sociology, public policy, public health or other social science related fields
- Experience with and / or knowledge of data collection and analysis methodologies and techniques, such as qualitative analysis and presentation of data, and conduct of structured interviews, observations, and focus groups
- NVivo software experience preferred, but not required
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when writing
- Effective communicator that can work with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite or the equivalent (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software)
- Comfortable working in a virtual work environment
