Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Communications Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Communications team for up to 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities include
 Drafting news content as assigned.
 Assist with managing and posting to COE social media accounts
 Format power point documents regarding events, news, announcement for digital lobby
display
 Monitor and compile daily press clips
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience
 Experience working with and/or supporting a fast-paced team.
 Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines on a daily basis, multitask, and quickly adapt
 Strong writing skills and experience in Microsoft Power Point
Preferences:
Preferred Qualifications
 Prior internship or relevant professional experience in a related field
 Previous communications, media relations, or external affairs experience
 Interest in and understanding the field of Education
