The Hilda Allred Women in STEM Scholarship has been established to honor the legacy of a woman who served as a mentor to countless students, colleagues, and friends. Having witnessed firsthand the rapid advancement in science and technology in her own career, Hilda recognized the critical importance that STEM disciplines played in these changes.
This scholarship aims to bridge the gap by providing support that enables aspiring women to overcome barriers, excel in their chosen STEM discipline and become influential role models in their communities.
This scholarship is administered and awarded externally by the ASU Foundation.
