Summary of Job Duties:

This position serves as the Grants & Revenue Functional Lead on the Finance/Procurement Workday Support Services team. Reporting to the Finance/Procurement Lead, the Grants & Revenue Functional Lead will provide overall leadership and subject matter expertise in the implementation of the Finance business processes related to grant management processes, gift management processes, customers, customer accounts, and customer contracts in scope and oversee the timely completion of projects required by the roadmap for continuous improvement.
The Grants & Revenue Functional Lead will coordinate and participate in System design workshops, assist in the enhancement/innovation of business process and core financial configuration, assessing change impacts, change readiness and supporting institutions. This position is responsible for overall management of the Grant/Revenue functional team and will coordinate their work with the work of other team members/leaders.
The Grants & Revenue Functional Lead will complete hands-on functional and technical project activities and provide guidance to System resources for the Finance functional areas in scope. This position will demonstrate and explain key product features, document requirements and design, provide knowledge transfer to the project team and campuses, configure the corresponding functionality and assist in testing and support the roll-out. This position will also recommend solutions to System requirements, manage the design of cross-application solutions and escalate issues/risks.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
* The educational equivalent of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
* At least three years of experience working within the area of finance
* At least one year of supervisory experience
* Must be able to work collaboratively and remotely with quarterly travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or the educational equivalent of Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
* Significant experience assessing, revising, implementing and supporting business processes related to finance and/or procurement
* Experience with change management related to finance/procurement ERP systems or other large enterprise system deployments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Knowledge of the process being transformed and an understanding of how the process/system integrates with other processes and initiatives
* Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
* Strong organizational and task management skills
* Solid analytical skills
* Effective management and team skills
* Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis
* Ability to structure work efficiently
* Ability to provide direction and use interpersonal influences to gain goal alignments with results versus activity-oriented outcomes
