UCSB's Center for Nanotechnology in Society (CNS) awards yearlong fellowships for UC graduate study and research related to nanotechnology and society. University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) CNS is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). It is a collaborative interdisciplinary research center that serves as a national research and education center, a network hub among researchers and educators concerned with societal issues concerning nanotechnologies, and a resource base for studying these issues in the US and abroad.
Eligibility & Requirements
Must be in residence at the Center for the duration of the award. Open only to students enrolled in a graduate program at the University of California (UC). Open to social sciences, humanities, science, and engineering graduate students. Statement of research interest. CV. Transcript. Faculty recommendation.
