This scholarship shall provide support to two pre-med students who have demonstrated financial need as determined by ASU Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.
About Dr. Fred G. Holmes
During the 50th class reunion of the Arizona State University Class of 1907, the alumni established the Fred G. Holmes Scholarship fund in Memory of the late Dr. Holmes.
Dr. Holmes became a well-respected civic leader and physician in Phoenix. Dr. Holmes was one of the founders of the Phoenix Urban League, and was a past president of the Phoenix YMCA, the Arizona Tuberculosis Association, the Anti-Tuberculosis Association and the Arizona Council of Churches.
