Scholarship information
This scholarship provided by the Ford Motor Fund, is set to help students who are first-generation college students achieve their academic and career goals. Students awarded this scholarship will receive guidance from a Career Advisor on how to take steps to prepare for their career!
This is a one-time (non-renewable) scholarship to be applied to the 2024-2025 academic year.
Students who are awarded the scholarship must complete one meeting with an ASU Career Advisor per semester.

Additional criteria:
1. Must be a first-generation college student, which is defined as: At the start of their bachelor degree, students whose primary parent(s) / guardian(s) have not earned a four-year degree in the United States, and/or
those who have experienced the foster care system or identify as an emancipated youth.
2. Essay (500-750 words): How are the experiences from your personal and professional life helping you to develop skills and networks for your future career? (Include any leadership experiences, campus/community involvement, work experience, or academics, etc.)
3. Unofficial Transcripts
4. Current Professional Resume
5. Professional Cover Letter to the scholarship committee addressing the following:
-Financial need
-Career goals
-How this scholarship will help you achieve those goals
