Position Description Summary:
The Department of Health, Human Function, and Rehabilitation Sciences at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences welcomes applications for a full-time time (12 month), non tenure-track faculty position. The Program is located in a state of the art facility in the heart of Washington, D.C. The University provides a dynamic academic environment, which fosters strong collaborative and interprofessional efforts within the University and beyond.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching primarily in courses addressing physical therapist management of pediatric dysfunction and interprofessional community health and advocacy involving close community engagement. Additionally, faculty are expected to engage in program, university, and professional service, and oversee a post-professional pediatric residency program in collaboration with clinical partners. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research agenda that aligns with department goals. This is a 12-month non-tenure earning position.  
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a clinical doctorate (DPT) with certification in pediatric physical therapy at the time of appointment.; must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practice physical therapy in the District of Columbia.
