The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a faculty position in Clinical Pathology. A successful candidate will hold an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree with board certification and subspecialty training in Transfusion Medicine/Blood Banking to assist development of a growing academic practice. Specific areas of opportunity include transplantation medicine, e.g., blood banking/transfusion services, apheresis, cellular collection, human leukocyte antigen (HLA), and modification of cellular function.
