Position Summary

The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a faculty position in Anatomic Pathology (AP) with subspecialty expertise in head and neck and/or lung pathology. Additional interests in cardiovascular pathology can be supported. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and candidates with clinical and academic administrative experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree with board certification and subspecialty training and experience. The department is a rapidly growing academic practice with highly competitive compensation and opportunities for administrative responsibility. Required Qualifications

M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree

Fellowship training in head and neck and/or lung pathology

Board certified/board eligible in anatomic pathology (AP), or anatomic pathology
(AP) and clinical pathology (CP).

Supplemental Qualifications

Experience in head and neck and/or lung pathology service

Experience in medical student, pathology resident and or pathology subspecialty
fellow training.

Demonstrate an interest or expertise in research and/or scholarly activity.

Broad-based experience in laboratory management
